The 2020-2021 school year began last week on Wednesday, August 12. As we started the year utilizing a distance learning model, we were unable to spend this important day in person with our amazing Bobcats. However, our families came to the rescue, and we received many wonderful photos of our students all ready for the big day!

One of the most amazing aspects of this process was that as the photos poured in from our proud Bobcat Parents, they were often accompanied by wonderfully supportive messages about the upcoming year. We know that this year will be unusual, but our Bobcats can handle anything.

We are excited to share several first day of school photos!

Zhengyin and Nathan

Brand new Bobcat alert! Zhengyin Z. and Ethan N. both started grade 5 last week.

Avi and Chandler

Expert level Bobcats! Both Avi C. and Chandler C. started grade 11 last week.

Isha and Smayan

Isha B and Smyan P. both started grade 7 this year. They look excited about it, too!

David and Annie

These brand new Bobcats already have their study skills honed! David L. and Annie Y. started grade 6 and grade 5, respectively.

Noor and Akhil

Noor M. and her sweet puppy Bullet are brand new to grade 6, while Akhil G. is new to grade 5.

Jaden and Naman

Both Jaden F. and Naman S. are each starting their second year at the school, Jaden in grade 7 and Naman in grade 6.

Aditya and Andrew

Aditya B. and Andrew L. started in grade 5 together last year, and this year can support each other in grade 6.

Cindy and Aaron

Cindy Y. (Hi, Mr. Adams!) and Aaron C. are both returning Bobcats; Cindy in grade 7 and Aaron in grade 6.

Shreyas and Max

These grade 8 Bobcats have their work stations set up for success, and we know that Shreyas A. and Max T. will have a great year!

Aindra and Arkar

These Bobcat siblings had a great first day! Aindra T. returned for grade 8 and Arkar T. is new to grade 6. Big sister will be a great resource for Arkar!

We look forward to opportunities to see our Bobcats on campus soon, but until then we will stay connected in our classes and with great photos. Regardless of the circumstances, our community always comes together because we are Bobcat strong!
