Our students take science and math courses beginning in grade 5, and in the middle school years are exposed to the sciences as three distinct disciplines: physics, biology and chemistry. Computer Science and Engineering are electives courses our Bobcats may choose to take beginning in grades 7.

In the high school years, our students are able to take AP level science including Physics 1, 2 and C, computer science and mathematics classes. As juniors and seniors, Capstone courses allow students to delve deeply into subjects such as Quantum Chemistry, Advanced Java Topics and Machine Learning, and the Biology of Cancer.

Throughout their time at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley, our Bobcats have access to a variety of excellent STEM courses!
