“At BASIS Independent McLean, we know that knowledge is good and the more you know, the easier it is to master new things, to continue learning, and to keep growing. Our teachers are experts in their field and are passionate about the material they are teaching,” says Dr. Bezanson. “It is this passion that is contagious in our classrooms and leads teachers to encourage children to question, to investigate, and ultimately to fully understand. We believe that inspired teachers ignite the fire for lifelong learning. We teach children not to avoid the hard work and challenges, but to embrace them and the rewards are well worth it.”
“Our Red-Tailed Hawk community is enriched by the diversity of interests, talents, cultures, and backgrounds of not only our students, but our parents and teachers,” says Ms. Conroy. “Together we are all building this new community, which fosters a love of learning that will carry our students throughout their lives.”
