Happy New Year! 2021 is finally here, and our Admissions team is excited to welcome in this new year.
We ended 2020 by releasing our Early Admission offers and have been delighted to see the positive responses from so many families. Welcome to these newest Red-Tailed Hawks!
As an Admissions person, January is always a busy month. As our team returns to the office, after a very restful Winter Break, our Regular Admission deadline is quickly approaching. Additionally, preparations are underway for our January Virtual Open House. While we are usually concerned about the threat of snow for this event, this year, our virtual format allow us to plan without worrying about inclement weather.
Let’s take a quick look at each of these important upcoming activities.
Regular Admission Deadline
For families interested in applying for our Regular cycle, don’t forget to submit your application by Wednesday, January 20. The Admissions team will work with you to complete the application by Friday, February 5, and all applications completed by February 5 will receive an admissions decision on Thursday, March 4. Begin and submit your application today! It only takes a few minutes to get started.
After our Regular Admissions cycle deadline of Friday, February 5, we will begin accepting applications for our Rolling Admissions cycle. These applications will be reviewed on a rolling and space-available beginning in mid-March.
January Open House
Whether your family has already applied for our Regular Admissions cycle or your family is considering our school for the Rolling Admissions cycle, don’t miss our biggest event of the spring, our January Virtual Open House. Open House is the best way to learn more about our advanced curriculum, discover our talented subject expert teachers, and meet our dynamic students and parents.
Open House Structure
As an age 2-grade 12 private school, many families have children spanning our school. To help families looking across our campus, our January 23 Open House will be hosted as a series of Zoom Breakout Rooms. Note: Please make sure that you are on Zoom 5.3.0 or later to allow you to self-select Breakout Rooms during this event.
The Open House will kick-off at 9:00 AM with a welcome from school leadership, where we will introduce you to our growing community of enthusiastic students, parents, teachers, and staff.
Following the introduction, your family will have the ability to attend four sessions during the Open House, selecting the most appealing ones the from a list of nearly 20 sessions. Each session will last approximately 20 minutes. Session options will include:
- Academic overviews of each program area Early Learning (Toddler-Kindergarten), Primary (Grades 1-4), Middle School (Grades 5-8), and High School (Grades 9 and above).
- Building Tours
- Teacher Spotlights
- Student/Parent Perspectives
- Student Life and More
Don’t miss this immersive experience! Register today for our January Open House. Registrants will receive the Zoom link and a schedule of breakout sessions the day before the event.
