Many thanks to those who participated in our Early and Regular Admissions cycle! We had a large number of applicants and have enjoyed getting to know each and every one of them.

Based on demand, we are now moving into a Rolling Admissions cycle and continue to accept applications for grades 1-6. Although our Regular Admissions cycle is now complete, it’s not too late to apply to BASIS Independent Fremont for the 2017-18 school year.

How does it work? Read below carefully for steps on how to submit an application during our Rolling Admissions cycle.

  1. Submit an online application and select “Rolling Admissions Cycle” on the drop-down menu for selecting the Application Cycle.
  2. Schedule required meetings via the online application. Requirements vary by grade; please see corresponding checklists.
  3. Gather required supplementary materials. Requirements vary by grade; please see corresponding checklists.

How much space is available in each grade? We have seats available for grades 1-6 for Fall 2017. Applications for grades 1-6 are open until the grade has filled. Once a grade has closed, qualified applicants will be placed immediately in a wait pool.

When will we be notified about acceptance? Beginning March 12, 2017 we aim to notify you within 14 business days of receiving your completed application. A completed application includes supplementary materials and required meetings.

If we are accepted, when do we need to commit? During Rolling Admissions the commitment will be 14 business days from the date on your acceptance letter. Please note as we draw closer to the start of the school year or as a grade nears capacity, we will require a shorter time frame for your commitment.

As always, should you have any questions or would like to speak with a member of our team, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at or call (510) 775-5822.
