Applicants need to complete all required appointments and submit all supplemental materials before or by Thursday, February 25, 2021.

#4 - What will my child be tested on for the entrance exam?

All applicants are required to take an online BASIS Independent Schools Entrance Exam. Our traditional process of in-person testing has shifted to an online model. Our online Entrance Exam covers three areas: Math, English/Language Arts, and Writing. The content of these exams is based on the foundational material for the grade students are applying for.

#5 - What is a Family Meeting?

A Family Meeting is a 25-30 minute interview with either a member of our Admissions Team or school administration. During this meeting, we would like to get to know your child and family. If both parents are not available, only one parent is required to attend. Students applying to Grade 2 and above must attend this meeting.

#6 - What is a Play Date?

A Play Date is a play-based assessment for students applying to TK, Kindergarten, and Grade 1, that provides our teachers, administrators, and admissions staff the opportunity to get to know your child and observe your child’s social-emotional and academic development in a one-on-one setting. Play Dates generally last 30 minutes and feature time for our teacher or administrator to get to know your child, followed by an age-appropriate lesson or activity.
