As we approach our regular admissions deadline, we thought it appropriate to reset and take a moment to answer some questions we have been hearing related to becoming part of our school community.
Speaking of deadlines, we moved our regular admissions deadline a few days back from January 20 to January 24. Why? Because due to popular demand we have added an Open House on Saturday, January 21. We hope you and your friends exploring our program will join us for this immersive event.
Q: Is your school full?
We have experienced tremendous enrollment growth since our first year in fall 2014, but we are still accepting applications for all grades PK-10 for fall 2017. We do have very select space in certain grades and more space in others, but encourage everyone considering our program to apply. This is, however, likely to be the last admissions year for entry at all grade levels.
Q: Is it too late to apply?
No, it is not too late to apply. While our early admissions cycle has completed, we have seats available in all grade levels for our regular admissions cycle. Our regular admissions cycle ends January 24. Apply now and you will be prompted to take the next steps in application of setting up a family meeting, student evaluation, and collection of transcripts and teacher recommendations.
Q: How can I learn more about the program?
Aside from visiting our website, we offer a few different events to learn more: information sessions (after-hours or weekends), Open Houses (weekends), and school tours. All offer something slightly different. Information sessions are a great introduction to our academic program and feature a broad overview. Open Houses are your chance to move throughout the school like one of our own students – you will move from class to class and hear from some of the very teachers that could teach your child. Tours give you a view into our academic environment and culture. You will visit classrooms and observe what makes our program so special.
We just added in our last Open House for this year’s admissions season. Join us on Saturday, January 21. Register soon as space is filling fast!
More details and registrations for all events can be found here.
Q: Can prospective families attend any events with current families?
We do not invite parents outside of currently enrolled families to our student performances and community events of that kind, but we do gladly invite you to attend our seminar on January 19 titled, A New American Dream? The lessons of global benchmarking for parents and schools.
