Several parents have asked: can you combine two half-day programs to create a full-day experience? The answer: Absolutely! In fact, several of our programs are scheduled to allow for them to be combined with other half-day options.

Our half-day programs run either in the morning from 9-11:30 AM or in the afternoon from 12:30-3:00 PM. In the middle of the day from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM, all students including those in a scheduled full-day program, are on a one-hour lunch break during which they can eat, socialize, and enjoy supervised recreation in our indoor gym and outdoor play area. Here are some of our most popular ways parents are combining half-day programs:

July 11-15:

Lego Robotics (mornings and afternoons) with Science Exploration (mornings and afternoons)
English Writing and Critical Reading (mornings) with Minecraft (afternoons)
Saxon Math Level II (mornings) with English Writing and Critical Reading (afternoons)

July 18-22:

Lego Robotics (mornings and afternoons) with Science Exploration (mornings and afternoons)
English Writing and Critical Reading (mornings) with Minecraft (afternoons)

August 1-5:

Saxon Math Level II (mornings) with English Writing and Critical Reading (afternoons)
Saxon Math Level I (afternoons) with English Writing and Critical Reading (mornings)

As you can imagine, the combinations are numerous. The above list is just a sample of the possibilities. We encourage you to mix and match various programs to make your own BASIS Independent Summer experience!
